I tried the subscription for a while, mostly using it in the evenings after work, and it just doesn’t feel worth the monthly price to me. It might be useful for some people, but for how often I actually used it, I couldn’t really justify keeping it.

Overall, I’ve been happy with the Fi collar. The app is simple enough to figure out, the battery life has been solid for us, and the collar itself feels durable on my dog. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, which I was a little worried about at first.
The one thing that keeps me from fully loving it is the cell signal. Around town it usually updates just fine, but when we’re out hiking or even in certain neighborhoods, it can be slow or show an older location for a while. It’s not completely unreliable or anything, but for the price I guess I just expected it to be a little more consistent, especially since that’s kind of the whole point...

I really wanted to like Fi, but the activity tracking has been hit or miss for us. After using it for a bit, I started noticing a pattern where some lazy days somehow show my dog hitting his goal, but then on days when we take a solid long walk, it barely seems to count. The GPS has been okay overall, and the app looks nice, but the steps and activity numbers feel a little random. For the price, I was assuming the tracking would be a lot more reliable.

My dog got out and I was freaking out, but lost dog mode actually helped me find him fast . Thank god , he was safe .

I picked up Fi mainly because I wanted some peace of mind with the escape alerts, i’ve been disappointed. When it works, it’s nice, but I never feel fully relaxed trusting it.
There have been a couple times my dog got out of the yard and the alert didn’t come through until he was already down the street, which was a stressful little heart-drop moment. Then other times, when I’m already in a calm mood and he’s literally inside the house, it’ll randomly say he left.
The collar itself seems solid and the battery life has been good, so I don’t hate it overall. But for the main reason I bought it, I just wish it felt more dependable.

I’ve been happy with the GPS so far. I’ve tested it on regular walks, and also in those fun little panic moments when my dog decides the yard is optional. The location has been really close most of the time. It’s not perfect every single second, but then again, I don’t really expect any tracker to be. Overall, it’s been reliable enough that I actually trust it

In my experience, the Fi base station has been solid overall. It usually connects without any trouble when my dog is home, and I haven’t noticed it dropping randomly very often. I did have to unplug it once or twice when it started acting a little strange, but it wasn’t a big deal for me. Setup was easy too. I’d give it 4 stars because it’s not totally perfect, but for what I need, it does the job most days.

I’m surprised by how good the battery life is. Since it holds a charge for so long, I barely have to think about charging my dog’s collar.

After just a few months, the strap was already fraying, and the buckle started feeling loose. My dog isn’t especially rough on stuff either, just regular walks, some backyard running, and the usual dog things.

For the price, I really thought it would hold up better. Support was okay, nothing terrible, but I don’t want to be dealing with replacing a collar this soon. I’d give it 2 stars.

The collar looks nice enough when you first take it out, but once it was on my dog, the fit just wasn’t right. It kept rubbing around his neck, and he was clearly uncomfortable after wearing it for a bit. I adjusted it a few different ways, but it never really sat properly. The product description makes it sound way more comfortable and well-designed than it actually felt in real life. For the price, I expected better.

I got my Fi collar today and expected the setup to be more of a hassle, but it only took a few minutes. The app picked it up quickly and the instructions were easy enough to follow. I might’ve had to pause once to figure out the next step, but nothing frustrating at all. I’m not the best with app setup stuff, so I was happy that it mostly just worked.

My dog’s Fi collar started acting up and I figured dealing with the warranty would be a pain. But it was actually quick. I sent over the info they needed, and they got a replacement sent out without a bunch of back and forth. Support was nice too, no weird runaround or anything. Defintely appreciated how easy it was.

I mainly got this for the sleep tracking, but the info feels basic. Some nights it doesnt really line up with what I noticed myself at home, so I’m not sure how much I trust it. The app is fine overall, I just thought the sleep insights would be a bit more useful

It took me a minute to figure out where everything was, but once I got going, it was really simple to use. Kind of nice when an app just works without making you think too hard... anyway, so far it’s been great.

I’ve been really happy using Fi to keep an eye on where my dog is. It gives me a lot of peace of mind, and the location updates are usually solid. Every now and then, when he’s moving around a lot, I do wish it refreshed a bit quicker, but overall it’s been a great tool and I’m glad I have it.

My dog is basically determined to test this Fi collar every chance he gets, swimming, sprinting through wet grass every morning, you name it. It’s been soaked more times than I can count, and shockingly, it still works totally fine.

I expected it to start acting up after a few lake days, because apparently that’s just where my expectations are with pet gear now, but it still charges and tracks without any drama. So yeah, happy with it so far.

I had to wait way too long for replies, and when they finally got back to me, it wasn’t really helpful. Literally felt like I was just stuck waiting with no real answers
